Creating my first song, "Falling," in 2021 was the beginning of a long and transformative process. At the time, I wasn’t fully aware of the journey ahead, but now, after three years of honing my skills, I feel this is the right moment to release it. The song has been rewritten and reimagined so many times that its evolution feels like a reflection of my own personal growth. Each time I revisited it, I was a little different—more in tune with myself and my craft.
While it may not be 100% polished to some, it represents the best of what I had in that moment. And that’s what matters—knowing that I’ve done my best, given all I had, and allowed myself to learn and grow through the process. The perfection isn’t in the final product but in the journey itself—the rewrites, the mistakes, the frustrations, and the breakthroughs. Every step along the way taught me something new about myself, my creativity, and the power of persistence.
I admit I’m not an expert yet, and I’m still evolving as an artist, but I’ve learned that progress is just as important as perfection. That’s why I give myself credit—not just for finishing the song, but for allowing myself to be guided by my intuition and the angels who have been with me through it all. It hasn’t been easy, but I’ve done it on my own, and I celebrate that.
So now, I tap myself on the shoulder and say, "Well done." I’m proud of this journey—every struggle, every rewrite, every moment of doubt—because it’s made me stronger. And as I share "Falling" with the world, I share a part of me, my growth, and my belief in the process of becoming.
Lyrics - FALLING
Hand and hand, ups and down
Side by side, I know we stand.
I'm falling through the sky, so high
With every beat, my heart starts to fly
Gravity can't hold me down, because I'm free
just you and I
Falling, falling, into your arms
I'm falling, I can't resist your charms
With every path I cross, it will open doors
The way is in your heart
Falling, falling, into the unknown,
In this life, where I am alone
been searching for a long on my own
Nonstop until I am on my throne
Kahit maglaho na ang mga bituin
sa kalangitan ng gabi
Pag ibig sa isat isa, hindi pwedeng isantabi
ikay mamahalin, palagi ako sa iyong tabi
As we walk into the great unknown
Our love will guide and we'll never be alone
Together we rise, ride or die
This journey forever side by side
Falling, falling, into your arms
I'm falling, I can't resist your charms
With every path I cross, it will open doors
The way is in your heart
Falling, falling, into the unknown,
In this life, where I am alone
been searching for a long on my own
Nonstop until I am on my throne
Falling, falling
The song "FALLING" beautifully conveys a story of love, self-discovery, and the strength of a deep connection between two individuals. It portrays the emotions of both vulnerability and empowerment, as well as the sense of falling into love, trust, and the unknown future. Blending of English and Filipino in the lyrics gives it a unique personal touch, adding depth to the expression of love and commitment.
Themes of Love and Connection: The recurring image of "falling" symbolizes surrender, not just to love but also to trust and the journey ahead. It reflects the vulnerability of being in love while also embracing the unknown, which many listeners can relate to. The line "Falling, falling, into your arms / I can't resist your charms" conveys a sense of being captivated by love and willingly letting go of inhibitions.
Personal Journey: The lyrics hint at a personal transformation, particularly in lines like "In this life, where I am alone / been searching for a long on my own / Nonstop until I am on my throne." These lines reflect the journey of self-discovery and empowerment. The idea of finding one's throne represents personal achievement and self-realization, which could symbolize claiming one's place in love and life.
Filipino Verse: The lines in Filipino add a heartfelt and poetic touch. "Kahit maglaho na ang mga bituin sa kalangitan ng gabi" beautifully expresses the permanence of love, regardless of circumstances, further emphasized by the promise, "Pag-ibig sa isat isa, hindi pwedeng isantabi," meaning love can't be set aside. This gives the song a sense of unwavering commitment and devotion.
The Dynamic Between the Woman and the Man: The song expresses the duality of both independence and unity between the woman and the man. The line "Together we rise, ride or die" captures the strength of the partnership, where both individuals contribute to their shared journey, reinforcing the "ride or die" loyalty and commitment.
Overall, "FALLING" tells a relatable and compelling story of two people navigating love and life's uncertainties together, with a sense of personal empowerment woven into the emotional landscape of the song. It touches on both individual growth and the unbreakable bond between them.
